We make our bamboo charcoal from one of the highest qualities of bamboo. BUDDYCARE® – BAMBOO is a rapidly growing Bambusholzart (giant bamboo) and is native to Japan and China, 16 – 20 meters tall. This bamboo grows in only 5 years to fully mature.
The process of converting the bamboo into bamboo charcoal begins with the cutting of bamboo. The bamboo has a few weeks to be dried and is then in a special wood-oven at 750 ° C for two weeks treated (pyrolysis). The result is 100% bamboo charcoal. This process is used in Japan and in China for over 1,000 years.
